Poverty Reduction
Introduction:
The tailoring and psychotherapy project organized by our institute in Panjshir Province has successfully concluded. This six-month project, implemented in three districts of the province, provided training and support to over 100 women, enhancing their vocational and psychological skills.
Project Objectives:
– Enhance tailoring skills among women to increase job opportunities.
– Provide psychotherapy counseling to support the mental well-being of participants.
– Distribute sewing machines and basic sewing tools to facilitate professional work.
Activities Conducted:
1. Tailoring Training:
– Participants received technical training in tailoring, including design, cutting, sewing, and garment production.
– Weekly training sessions were held, transforming each participant into a skilled tailor by the end of the course.
2. Psychotherapy Counseling:
– Alongside technical training, psychotherapy counselors held counseling sessions with the participants.
– These sessions significantly improved the women’s mental state and boosted their self-confidence.
3. Equipment Distribution:
– At the end of the course, each participant received a sewing machine and basic sewing tools.
– This initiative enabled the women to start their professional activities immediately.

Conclusion:
The tailoring and psychotherapy project for women in Panjshir Province concluded with remarkable success. It improved the vocational skills and mental well-being of the women, laying the foundation for their economic independence. Our institute is committed to continuing and expanding such projects in the future to enhance the social and economic status of women in various regions.
